ProSource, a leader in the right of way, acquisition, and relocation industry, is searching for a Senior Title Examiner/Abstractor. Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, ProSource is poised for expansion and growth and are looking for the perfect Senior Title Examiner to add to our team.
In this role you will be responsible for abstracting and examining title for a variety of clients in the Midwest (MN, IA, WI, SD, ND). This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work with up to 50% travel required for site visits and client needs. Although remote the perfect candidate will need to be located in Minnesota.
ProSources Right of Way Team consists of a diverse group of experts, including attorneys, licensed real estate professionals, environmental specialists, abstractors, CADD and document management specialists, all of whom are dedicated to providing superior ROW services to our clients. Our team has a proven track record of successfully completing a wide range of ROW projects for government agencies, municipalities, private developers, and other entities.

Senior Title Examiner Responsibilities:
- Perform abstracting and title examination for properties in the Midwest region.
- Review and analyze property titles to determine ownership, encumbrances, and potential legal issues.
- Manage a team of 1-10 abstractors, providing guidance and ensuring accuracy and quality in their work.
- Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders to resolve any title-related issues.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of title examinations and abstracting activities.
- Travel as required to complete on-site examinations and support team members.
Senior Right of Way Manager Requirements:
- Experience in title examination and abstracting, specifically in the Midwest (MN, IA, WI, SD, ND).
- Licensure in title abstracting is desired but not required.
- Strong understanding of land records, legal terminology, and title issues.
- The ability to review the title record, determine if defects occur and provide a recommendation to clear the defect.
- Proven experience managing or supervising a team of abstractors is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned Midwest region.
