The Carpet Shoppe, Inc. (TCS) is seeking a proactive and results-driven individual to serve as the ProSource Assistant Sales Manager. This critical role oversees the day-to-day operations and management of ProSource of Honolulu, leading the team in achieving net sales and revenue goals while ensuring excellent customer service and team performance. This position requires a focus on business development, staff supervision, and effective promotion of the ProSource brand.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom Management
- Open and close the showroom; ensure compliance with security and cash handling policies.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing escalations and claims promptly.
- Plan, implement, and review showroom promotions and advertising campaigns in coordination with the marketing department.
- Ensure the showroom's appearance, layout, and displays are maintained to high standards.
- Manage showroom equipment, supplies, and purchasing within the approved budget.
Sales Management
- Assign sales territories and manage Account Manager (AM) performance, utilizing RFMS and Compass tools for analysis.
- Develop Minimum Acceptable Standards (MAS) for sales performance and hold AMs accountable for meeting them.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new Account Managers using the TalentPro Network and live training sessions.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to AMs to improve sales performance and resolve conflicts.
Leadership and Staff Development
- Set performance objectives for showroom and sales staff and conduct regular reviews.
- Develop and implement staff management and training plans with approval from company executives.
- Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented team environment.
- Design and execute reward and recognition programs to motivate staff and celebrate achievements.
Business Development
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders such as realtors, property managers, contractors, and trade organizations.
- Represent ProSource at industry events and meetings to increase visibility and foster partnerships.

Desired Qualifications

Location
We are only considering candidates located in Honolulu, Hawaii. Team members expectations require regular work in the office weekly. This position may require frequent travel offsite for events, meetings, and training.
Compensation and Benefits
This a full-time “at-will” position working at least 40 hours per week.
The salary range for this role is $65,000 – $150,000, which is based on market data and the organization’s compensation philosophy. Our offer will be within the range as required by certain state laws and individual salary offers will depend on and may vary with location, relevant education, knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer comprehensive employee benefits.
