What you’ll do:
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by greeting and signing in all showroom visitors
- Assist our team of Account Managers by fasciliting the sales process, including taking customer payments, providing status of orders, answering customer’s questions, and signing out samples.
- Comfortable answering the phones and asking the customer questions so that you can direct them to the right salesperson or provide them with answers.
- Understand and explain the benefits of ProSource to trade professional prospects and homeowners.
- Manage the showroom floor and displays. Tag new samples and/or update price tags.
- Work with the sales team to deliver consistent and exceptional customer experiences.
- Build rapport with our vendors through communication regarding orders you place with them on behalf of the Account Managers.
- Proficient with CRM systems and our internal programs for sales entry and bookkeeping.
- Provide daily reports for Account Managers and the Sales Manager.
- Assist our Kitchen and Bath Designers with quoting and ordering of select product categories.
- Set up and manage weekly transfer trucks between showrooms.
- Process credit applications and transactions for our trade pro members and homeowners.
- Place sample orders with our vendors for clients and/or trade pros.
- High School diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Interest or background in Interior Design a plus
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate numerical data such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- A general understanding of technology and the internet (using mobile devices, apps, and internet searches)
