What are the responsibilities and job description for the Airport Baggage Transporter/Wheelchair Agent position at Prospect Airport Services?
Duties:
Airport baggage transporters are responsible for moving luggage and oversized items once they've been checked in and tagged by an airline agent from the airline ticket counters to the TSA baggage drop-off areas and or from the baggage carousels to dedicated airline baggage service offices (BSO). Additionally, employees who assist with luggage are cross-trained to assist passengers with disabilities and elderly passengers in wheelchairs to/from the ticket counter(s) to the gates and vice versa. This position is split, performing each task for half of the scheduled shift.
While performing the duties of this job, employees are frequently required to stand and walk continuously. Additionally, employees must frequently lift and transport luggage up to and often times exceeding 50lbs.

Available Shifts:
- Mornings: 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM
- Mid-Shift: Not Available at this Time
- PM: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
**Please note, for part-time the minimum requirement is three days (shifts) per week - all shifts are scheduled 8.5 hours.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have a valid drivers license or state ID and be able to pass a federal background check
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to physically perform required work
- Professional appearance
- Customer service skills
- Dependable, self motivated and responsible
- Ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule, including nights, early mornings, and weekends
