What are the responsibilities and job description for the Airport Supervisor - Aircraft Cleaning position at Prospect Airport Services?
Cabin service supervisors are responsible for immediate oversight of the cabin service operation(s) including cleaning, searching & provisioning commercial aircraft to ensure all performance goals are met. This also includes delegating tasks to frontline employees, performing & completing thorough security checks as mandated by our airline client, the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) along with all relevant documentation. Other items include;
- Ensure familiarity with all areas of the operation and aircraft and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while complying with company’s expectations, policies, & procedures
- Manage the daily operation to ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly
- Provide direction, instruction and coaching to employees as needed
- Work closely with leads and managers to ensure employee assignments are followed and completed correctly
- Complete safety and compliance audits on cabin service employees
- Assure proper handling of hazardous materials (if applicable), and follow safety procedures (PPE; safety vest, ear plugs, etc.) and work safely both on the aircraft and outside on the ramp
- Ensure the operation functions in a safe, caring, dependable and efficient manner at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
