What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Prospect Airport Services?
A Dispatcher is responsible for the following essential functions
- Ability to use internal computer dispatching system or airlines operational information system, email and radio communication to coordinate, assign and log responses.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Have familiarity and understanding of a passenger assistant's work as well as the airport layout where work is performed.
- Be punctual since dispatch needs are driven by airline client flight schedules.
- Sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
