The Role: Facilities Manager
The Facilities Manager oversees the maintenance, repair, renovations, and upgrades for restaurants units across multiple states and brands. They are responsible for planning and organizing solutions related to facilities issues.
Additional job responsibilities include:
- Perform field inspections to ensure restaurants meet company standards.
- Develop budgets and scopes of work for renovations, manage the contracts' bidding process, and oversee work to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Verify that scheduled preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment.
- Negotiate and submit all facilities contracts to the corporate office for approval
- Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders.
- Communication and follow-up with contractors and vendors on all maintenance and service projects.
- Working with CMMS system to process work orders
- Assist with educating and training team members on proper equipment and facility management and cleaning
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of facilities management experience in multi-unit restaurant operations
- Knowledge of HVAC/mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, general contracting, kitchen equipment, soda and CO2 systems.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Ability to prioritize and work within deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing.
- Must have the required tools to start
- Must frequently stand, walk, sit, drive, lift objects up to 70 lbs.
