Title: Senior Data Architect - Data Governance
Location: Dublin, OH ( Hybrid)

Job Description:
3 days/ week onsite
initially 6 months but most likely will be over a year with the chance of extension
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an agile data governance framework that ensures data quality, usability, and compliance while maintaining operational flexibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data governance standards and best practices that support business objectives without impeding progress.
Lead the establishment of data quality metrics and performance indicators.
Work closely with business and functional area leadership to enhance the value of core data assets to support business requirements.
Implement lean governance strategies that motivate and enable teams rather than impose rigid control, fostering a culture of data stewardship and accountability.
Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement in data management processes, focusing on efficiency and risk mitigation.
Coordinate with IT and business units to streamline data sources, eliminate redundancies, and optimize data-related expenses.
Serve as a point of escalation for governance issues, working to resolve challenges quickly and effectively.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in data governance, preferably in a fast-paced or agile environment
Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to balance competing priorities and make strategic decisions quickly
Experience with agile methodologies and lean management principles
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
