Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an agile data governance framework that ensures data quality, usability, and compliance while maintaining operational flexibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data governance standards and best practices that support business objectives without impeding progress.
- Lead the establishment of data quality metrics and performance indicators.
- Work closely with business and functional area leadership to enhance the value of core data assets to support business requirements.
- Implement lean governance strategies that motivate and enable teams rather than impose rigid control, fostering a culture of data stewardship and accountability.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement in data management processes, focusing on efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate with IT and business units to streamline data sources, eliminate redundancies, and optimize data-related expenses.
- Serve as a point of escalation for governance issues, working to resolve challenges quickly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data governance, preferably in a fast-paced or agile environment
