Prospect Mold and Die is looking to add a Senior Technical Sales Manager to our talented workforce. The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for the development of a Sales and Marketing strategy that identifies, calls on, and provides incremental sales volume in metal machined parts for aerospace & defense accounts. The Senior Sales Manager's work is done in conjunction with all function departments and customer contacts. Estimating and Sales reports must be accurate and communicate the needs of Prospect’s customers. Sales trips and estimates are subject to demanding deadlines based on customer’s needs.
This position can be ON SITE in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio or REMOTE. This is a salary exempt position with salary plus commissions.
DUTIES:
- Develop and maintain Prospect Mold 3-year A&D Strategic Sales Plan.
- Responsible for achieving critical project objectives. On Time, On Cost, On Service, and On Spec.
- Develop and Maintain Prospect’s customer base.
- Develop new accounts and increase business with existing accounts.
- Establish a partnership relationship with each key account and develop a clear understating of their business needs and mold requirements.
- Develop an annual target account list using past performance and other sales information from industry feedback
- Submit monthly report to the President and Vice President of Sales on market and past estimates.
- Follow up on all quotes; record reasons for jobs lost and submit monthly reports to the Vice President.
- Collaborate with all functional departments to ensure Prospect Mold and customer objectives are equally met.
- Support the Prospect Mold Business Management System approach to maintaining AS9100 certification.
- Keep abreast of all changes in technology and customer requirements and report key issues to the management team as is required.
- Schedule regular visits to each account to determine future business and how well Prospect is meeting customer’s requirements.
- B.S. Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent experience.
- Existing Aerospace & Defense Network and sales experience in metal machined parts.
