Chocolate Instructor

We are Prospector's BBQ & Bakery in downtown Galesburg, part of Rockhound Rock Shop - Michigan's Largest Rock Shop across the street.

As a Chocolate Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students the art of chocolate making, from basic techniques to advanced skills. Reporting to the program coordinator, your role will involve developing engaging curriculum and managing classroom dynamics to create a positive learning environment. Your core teaching skills, combined with your experience in adult education and working with adults & children, will enhance the learning experience.

We are looking to host Sunday workshops at the restaurant regularly and would like to find instructors to teach classes on a wide variety of food related topics. We would prefer classes last 2-3 hours and can be held back-to-back to make a full day of classes. We can work out a schedule if more time is be needed for specialty classes. The sky is the limit as far as ideas, but we were thinking chocolate is always a popular choice. If you know the ins and outs of chocolate and would like to teach some classes, please reply so we can talk about the details. Position is $25/hour, and we'll supply the needed materials.

You can host as few or many classes as you'd like. If interested in chocolate classes or have an idea for a different type of class, please let us know. Our seating area holds about 10 people, and our kitchen would hold about 6 people.

You must have practical & professional experience related to the class you are interested in teaching.
