Primary Purpose:
Play a key role in enhancing Prosper ISD's brand presence through the creation of visually compelling content. This role combines graphic design, branding, photography, and multimedia production to effectively communicate key messages across digital and print platforms, strengthening community engagement and supporting district initiatives and storytelling efforts.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Associate’s degree or equivalent industry experience in communications, multimedia, or a related field
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign) and other digital media tools
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles, branding, typography, and layout
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and effective storytelling
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments, with the team, and with diverse stakeholders
- Creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling
Experience:
Proven experience in designing and producing digital and print materials, including brochures, banners, presentations, and promotional content
Major Responsibilities and Duties
1. Graphic Design & Branding: Design high-impact visuals, infographics, digital ads, brochures, and event materials, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
2. Multimedia Content Creation: Develop engaging digital content such as animations, presentations, and interactive media to support district-wide communication efforts.
3. Photography & Videography: Capture, edit, and produce high-quality photos and videos that highlight student achievements, district events, and important initiatives.
4. Web Content: Create visually engaging assets for use on Prosper ISD’s website, mobile app enhancing audience engagement.
5. Print & Promotional Materials: Design flyers, banners, posters, and other print materials that effectively convey messages and align with the district’s branding guidelines.
6. Storytelling & Messaging: Work closely with the communications team to visually translate key messages into compelling stories that resonate with students, families, staff, and the community.
7. Project Management: Maintain an organized workflow, balancing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
8. Trend & Technology Awareness: Stay up to date on emerging trends in visual communication, design, and digital media to continually enhance the district’s outreach efforts.
9. Professional Development: Participate in professional development to continuously improve skills and enhance job performance.
