Alumni Coordinator
Position Overview:
The Alumni Coordinator at our healthcare facility with ALL LOCs plays a pivotal role in supporting individuals who have completed substance abuse treatment programs by fostering a sense of community, providing ongoing support, and organizing activities to promote sustained recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Alumni Engagement: Maintain regular communication with program alumni through various channels (e.g., phone calls, emails, social media) to provide ongoing support and encourage participation in alumni events.
- Event Planning: Organize and coordinate regular alumni events, including workshops, support groups, social gatherings, and volunteer opportunities, to facilitate networking and peer support among alumni.
- Resource Referral: Serve as a liaison between alumni and external resources, connecting individuals with employment opportunities, housing options, and other community support services to promote long-term recovery and stability.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of alumni contact information, participation in events, and progress in recovery programs to track outcomes and measure the effectiveness of alumni engagement efforts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with treatment center staff, including counselors, therapists, and administrative personnel, to integrate alumni support services into the overall continuum of care and ensure a seamless transition from treatment to aftercare.
- Program Development: Identify opportunities for enhancing alumni services and develop new initiatives to meet the evolving needs of program graduates, incorporating feedback from alumni and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- High School degree or above
- Experience working in substance abuse treatment or recovery support services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and establish trust with alumni
- Organizational and event planning abilities
- Familiarity with community resources for individuals in recovery
- Empathy and a commitment to supporting individuals in their journey to sobriety
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
