Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Group Facilitator with a flexible schedule to lead therapeutic group sessions for individuals facing various challenges, including chronic pain and behavioral health issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in individual group counseling and direct support, demonstrating an ability to create a safe and supportive environment for participants. This role requires expertise in behavior management and the ability to work effectively with individuals in a Detox/RES level of care at a new facility.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on chronic pain management, behavioral health, and overall well-being.
- Provide individual group counseling to participants, ensuring their needs are met in a supportive manner.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among group members.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess participants' needs and tailor sessions accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for participants, including inpatient support when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of group sessions and participant progress while adhering to organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree Preferred
- If Bachelors Degree, must have LADC or be enrolled in Masters program
- Proven experience in individual group counseling and direct support within a therapeutic setting.
- Knowledge of chronic pain counseling techniques and behavioral health practices.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Strong skills in behavior management and the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage participants effectively.
- A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
