We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team at our SUD residential facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a passion for providing high-quality patient care. As an NP, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patient health issues across various settings, including senior care and occupational health. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care within our organization. Ideal candidate will be a Medical & Psych NP.
Shift:
Part Time: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and managing chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and effective communication among healthcare providers.
- Utilize telehealth technologies to deliver remote consultations and follow-up care as needed.
- Engage in clinical research initiatives to advance nursing practices and improve patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems.
- Stay current with advancements in nursing practices, particularly in areas such as memory care, pain management, and esthetic laser treatment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of memory care principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient management.
- Experience in occupational health settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with esthetic laser treatment techniques is a plus.
- Expertise in pain management strategies for diverse patient populations.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Background in clinical research methodologies is advantageous.
- Ability to perform laboratory tests and interpret results accurately.
- Competence in utilizing telehealth platforms for effective patient engagement.
- Experience in senior care environments is highly valued.
