Prosperity is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our growing team. This individual will be joining a fast-paced organization committed to hiring and developing highly-motivated individuals to support existing and future growth needs. The Treasury Analyst will report directly to the Treasury Manager, joining a team of four. The team works together to complete the daily cash position, review and reconcile daily bank reporting, complete wire, check, and ACH transactions, and process daily liquidity investments as part of managing the organization’s short-term core liquidity investment portfolio. The Treasury Analyst will review, recommend, and implement, if approved, new banking products to enhance business processes within the department. This role will drive results through a comprehensive liquidity framework that enables the organization to assess liquidity needs, risk appetite, and adequacy and regularly delivers impactful analysis to senior management. Prosperity has physical office locations New York, NY, Roanoke, VA, Hamilton, Bermuda, and Charlotte, NC but also fully supports remote employees.
Responsibilities
- Generate a daily cash position forecast utilizing details provided by Investment and Accounting teams and perform trend analysis on accounts. Propose daily wire transfers to cover liquidity shortages.
- Reconcile and post daily accounting for operating relationships within new ERP system (Oracle Cloud).
- Generate daily reporting from Investment management system, Clearwater.
- Complete the processing, execution, and tracking of approvals for all ACH, wires, and check disbursements.
- Produce and assist with the creation of management decks for weekly Treasury discussions and quarterly Audit Committee and Board meetings.
- Participate in Model Audit Rule (MAR) testing and internal audit documentation requests.
- Work with banking partners to identify and propose new process enhancements.
- Assist in bank Know Your Customer (KYC) requests.
- Assist with state-specific statutory deposit requirements.
- Review forecast to actual data and propose changes to accruals based on projection reconciliations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Treasury certifications and/or experience.
- 1-3 Years of experience working in Finance, Accounting, or Treasury.
- Ability to work in a complex and innovative environment.
- Illustrates proficiency in both verbal and written communications skills to act as a liaison between management and cross functional groups throughout the organization. Ability to present a professional image in conduct and attitude.
- Motivated independent worker with excellent organizational and project management skills; willingness and ability to work on multiple diverse tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrates an aptitude to respond quickly in a challenging dynamic environment and a willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of peak workloads to meet project milestones and implementation deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
