Hours : 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am
Pay : Day shift pay is $16 / hr, and night shift pay is $17 / hr including the shift differential.
Location : Lenoir, NC
Type : Full-Time, Temp to Hire
ProStaffing has teamed up with manufacturing facility in the Lenoir area to find reliable and driven candidates to join their team! The job follows a 3-2-3 schedule working 12-hour shifts, rotating every two weeks. You’ll need to be okay with working both day and night shifts.
Job Duties :
A machine operator assistant (MOA) is a critical support role, responsible for aiding machine operators in their tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of machinery. MOAs play a vital role in optimizing production processes and contributing to the overall productivity and product quality.
- Assist the machine operator as needed.
- Prepare the finished product for shipping.
- Box and / or wrap finished product as needed.
- Load raw material onto machines.
- Operate crane to move material as needed.
- Inspect finished goods to ensure high quality.
- Enter data into systems for inventory control.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Keep records up to date and communicate fully with other team members.
- Operate machine wrapper to include, changeover, alignment, control setting, and other tasks as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned.
