Job Description
- Responsibility and authority to notify Lead or Supervisor of quality related problems and, if necessary, to stop production to correct quality problems
- To assist in coordinating the work of production helpers and ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and all safety rules as followed :
- To operate one or more of the following : the mixing system; calendar; press; hot melt; embosser 1, 2, and 3; anti-sticking agent unit; adhesive unit 1 and 2; U.V. unit; magnetizing unit
- To start up the hot oil heater and water chillers
- Perform quality testing; make corrections for out-of-spec conditions
- Ensure production scheduled to adhered to
- Assist in training new production employees
- Perform some maintenance on the press and report any needed repairs on the machines
- Assist in labeling and packing parts
- Load and unload trucks
- Housekeeping
