About the Role :
We are seeking an innovative and experienced UX Director to lead the design strategy for our AI-powered platforms, ensuring seamless, user-centered experiences that align with our business goals. You will oversee a talented team of designers and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to create cutting-edge solutions that address real customer needs using the Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) framework.
As a key player in shaping the user experience of our AI-driven platforms, you will leverage your expertise in design thinking, AI technology, and platform strategy to deliver exceptional, intuitive, and impactful user interfaces and experiences. Your leadership will help define the future of our product ecosystem, enhancing usability while integrating AI in ways that feel natural and empowering for users.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead UX Strategy :
- Drive the overall user experience vision and strategy for our AI-driven platform(s), ensuring that user needs and business goals are met while using the latest advancements in artificial intelligence.
Platform Design & Architecture :
Oversee the design of comprehensive platform experiences across multiple touchpoints (mobile, web, IoT, etc.), ensuring consistency and integration between services, components, and applications.AI Integration :
Guide the design and implementation of AI-powered features that enhance user interaction, such as predictive algorithms, personalization, automation, and recommendation systems, ensuring these AI functionalities are user-friendly and intuitive.Apply JTBD Framework :
Lead product design using the Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) framework, conducting in-depth user research to identify unmet needs and drive the creation of user personas, journey maps, and solution concepts that directly address real jobs users need to get done.Team Leadership :
Mentor and guide a cross-disciplinary team of UX designers, researchers, and prototypers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and user-focused design culture.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to ensure designs are feasible and scalable while maintaining a strong user-centered approach.Design Systems & Standards :
Define and maintain design systems, standards, and best practices that ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all platform touchpoints.User Testing & Feedback :
Oversee user testing and iterative design improvements, leveraging AI-driven insights, user data, and JTBD methodologies to refine and optimize the user experience continuously.Stakeholder Communication :
Present design concepts, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders, advocating for user-centered design practices and aligning team efforts with business priorities.Qualifications : Experience :
8 years of experience in UX design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally in AI, platform, or product-driven companies.Proven track record of leading UX design initiatives for complex platforms or AI-driven products, from ideation to execution.Strong experience in applying the JTBD framework to design and innovation processes, with a deep understanding of how to leverage customer insights for impactful product development.Skills :
Expertise in AI technologies and how they can be integrated into the UX design process, including familiarity with machine learning, natural language processing, and data-driven decision-making.Excellent proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc.).Strong understanding of platform design principles and designing for scalability across various devices and services.Experience managing design teams, with excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.Deep knowledge of UX research methodologies, usability testing, and data analysisEducation :
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or related field (Master's or advanced degrees a plus).
