Job Description for IT/Software Project Manager
Summary:
This position is responsible for managing IT/software projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, software validation, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple complex projects, schedules, budgets, scope, and performance analytics in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with software validation and implementation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Jira, and Confluence
- Working knowledge of SQL and web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
- Basic understanding of networking and security related to network technologies
- Develop test scripts for validation testing purposes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in a related field from an accredited four-year college
- Minimum five years of IT/software project management experience
- Advanced knowledge in project management, including Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- PMP or CSM certification preferred
- Highly preferred: operations and quality experience, SaaS solutions experience
