As a key leader, you'll oversee a team of core developers, collaborate with internal IT teams and business units, and work with external vendors to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure technology solutions.
What You'll Do:Lead & Manage Development Teams Oversee a team of Symitar Core Developers, ensuring effective resource planning, team development, and delivery execution.
Drive Strategic Technology Solutions Design, build, and support enterprise applications that enhance banking operations and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with Stakeholders Work closely with business units, IT teams, and the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure seamless integration and alignment with company goals.
Enhance Development & Engineering Processes Define best practices, design patterns, and governance to maintain high coding and security standards.
Optimize Application Performance Continuously analyze user feedback, monitor performance metrics, and implement improvements for enhanced system functionality.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
6 years of experience with financial institution technologies, including Jack Henry (Symitar, Synapsys, Synergy, SymXchange, ARCU), MeridianLink, Encompass, Alkami, COTS, Image Center, OpCon, and more.
Experience in software development, version control, and testing practices within financial institutions.
Leadership experience, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and driving team success.
Strong knowledge of agile and iterative project management methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Symitar/PowerOn, RepGen, and core banking application development.
Expertise in IBM AIX operating systems, SQL development, HTML, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices for IT engineering processes.
