Working alongside a team of editors and subject matter experts, you'll develop creative solutions, produce high-impact content, and optimize social media performance. Your expertise will help inform key audiences through dynamic storytelling using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and implement strategic social media campaigns that align with organizational goals.
- Create engaging, high-quality content using tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Manage and optimize paid social media advertising to maximize reach and engagement.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics using Google Analytics to assess the impact of social media efforts.
- Apply knowledge of graphic design principles to enhance visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to refine messaging and campaign effectiveness.
- Work both independently and within a team to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
What You Bring:
- 4 years of experience in social media strategy development and execution.
- Strong background in content creation, copywriting, and journalism.
- Experience running targeted social media ads and tracking key performance metrics (time on site, hits, responses).
- Ability to showcase conceptual and visual design skills through a portfolio or work samples.
- A Bachelors degree in communications, advertising, marketing, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (Must be a US Citizen!)
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the defense industry.
- Familiarity with AP style and behavior change models.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
