Cyber Security Project Manager
Location: Hybrid – Columbus, OH (In-office Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Project Manager to lead medium-to-large scale IT and cybersecurity initiatives. This role involves managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and risk while ensuring alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, technical understanding, and leadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute cybersecurity projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources using Agile and SDLC methodologies.
- Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks while improving system security.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee governance, compliance, and audit preparations related to cybersecurity measures.
- Facilitate business process improvements and change management initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
- 3 years of project management experience with 7 years of overall work experience.
- Knowledge of IT enterprise technologies, cybersecurity principles, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project cost management and risk assessment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP and/or Agile certification (PSM, PSPO) preferred.
- Experience in the utilities or energy industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-based, SaaS, and on-premise application implementations.
This hybrid role requires in-office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Columbus, OH.
