Position Title : Welders with a specialty in Sanitary Welding for Food Production
Company Type : Food and Beverage Facility
Shift : 1st Shift – Monday to Friday from 6 : 00am – 4 : 30 pm
Salary Range : $70,000-$90,000 – DOE
Location : Fresno, CA

Job Summary :
We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable Welder / Fabricator specializing in sanitary welding for food production environments. The successful candidate will excel in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding and stainless-steel fabrication, ensuring strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities include fabricating, installing, and repairing stainless steel equipment and piping systems designed to meet rigorous sanitation requirements for food production.
Key Responsibilities :
Execute TIG welding on stainless steel parts, ensuring all welds meet the sanitary standards required for food-grade equipment.
Perform TIG and MIG welding across various metals, including purge welding for process piping.
Construct and assemble custom equipment, piping systems, and structural components for food production processes.
Install and maintain sanitary piping, ensuring optimal flow, minimal contamination risk, and adherence to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient operation of food production machinery.
Keep tools and work areas clean, strictly following food safety protocols to prevent contamination.
Follow all safety protocols and consistently use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Record work processes and inspections in alignment with company and industry compliance standards.
Qualifications :
5 years of recent experience as a Welder / Fabricator, specializing in sanitary welding within the food production sector.
Skilled in TIG welding and stainless-steel fabrication techniques.
Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Familiarity with food safety and sanitary compliance requirements.
Exceptional precision and attention to detail, thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of safety practices, particularly in food production settings.
Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate welding tools and power equipment effectively.
Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Physically capable of lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces when necessary.
Experience in industries such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, or dairy manufacturing.
Welding certifications, such as those from the American Welding Society (AWS), are highly desirable.
Experience working in the food processing, pharmaceutical, or dairy industries
Certifications in welding, such as AWS (American Welding Society) is a plus but not required.
