Job Description
As a CNC Programmer at Protech Staffing Solutions, you will be responsible for:
- Programming (MasterCAM) and operating CNC mills
- Operating, loading/unloading material, indicating vices/fixtures
- Inspecting and verifying conformance to specifications
- Providing crucial input on CNC programming, tool path, and tool/cutter selection
- Tool setup
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in CNC Lathe/Mill machining
- Experience with setting up fixtures, tooling, vices, and clamps
- Ability to program and edit programs
- Experience operating machines running complex and high tolerance components
- Familiarity with safety and work rules and practices
- Capability in prototyping and machining
- A strong work ethic and highly motivated
