What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controls Engineer position at PROtech Staffing Solutions?
Primary Responsibilities : - Design control systems, including panel layout, wiring schematics, w rite PLC programs for various inhouse equipment and automation.-Work closely with the Maintenance department to troubleshoot and sup port existing equipment.-Develop and write operating, setup, maintenance procedures.-In partnership with the production team, review equipment efficiency and utilization to help identify process improvements and cost reduct ion opportunities.-Design improvements to existing equipment and processes. Minimum Requirements : - 10 years minimum experience with manufacturing controls.-PLC & HMI programming-Robotic programming-BSEE degree or equivalent experience-Analytical skills- Strong electrical knowledge- Familiar with machine safety standards- Proficiency with 2D CAD software (3D a plus)- Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics- Mechanical aptitude- Machine vision a plus- Detail oriented
