Electrical Panel Wirer

Position Summary : Assemble and wire electrical control panels for standard as well as custom-built power conversion products / assemblies which include AC and DC Low Voltage Drives, Inverters for Battery Energy Storage & EV charging, Medium Voltage Drives, PLC's, and HMI's for both industrial and renewable energy applications. Position requires working from production and assembly drawings, parts lists, diagrams, schematics, and verbal / written instructions within a Lean Manufacturing environment. Essential Job Functions-Unbox and physically identify the mechanical and electrical components required for the assembly as per the layout drawings, schematics and parts lists.-Possess the ability to read schematics and layout the control panel per the dimensions given.-Drill, tap holes, and mount / securely fasten components as required in enclosures and control panels.-Quickly, efficiently, and accurately assemble and point to point wire electrical control panels while maintaining a high level of quality.-Create and apply identification tags / labels as per drawings.-Work cooperatively and communicate effectively with peers and management (team player).-Identify and elevate opportunities for process improvements. -Maintain a clean, organized work environment.-Maintain working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.-Other duties as assigned.Education / Experience Requirements-High School Diploma or GED required-2 years' experience working as an electrical panel builder / wire person in a manufacturing environment.-Ability to recognize common electrical controls components.-Ability to use hand () and / or power tools (, punches, jigsaws).-Ability to measure.-Ability to read Electrical Drawings / Schematics.-Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Working Conditions -Standard office environment, standard production equipment.-OSHA compliant manufacturing facilities.
