JOB SUMMARY
The SAP MMPP (Materials Management and Production Planning) Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Materials Management and Production Planning modules of SAP to support our supply chain and manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency and innovation within our materials and production processes, ensuring that PIP maintains its leadership in the industrial products sector.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and define processes related to the SAP MMPP module
- Design, configure, and test the SAP MMPP module to align with PIP's operational requirements and improve efficiency
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP MMPP system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to supply chain and production activities
- Train end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of the SAP MMPP module
- Collaborate with other SAP module analysts to ensure seamless integration and support for PIP's operational processes
- Develop and maintain documentation for SAP configuration, specifications, and changes specific to PIP's materials and production operations
- Conduct regular system audits to identify issues or opportunities for improvement in materials and production processes
- Support the implementation of new procedures and features within the SAP MMPP module to enhance PIP's operational capabilities
- Work closely with supply chain and production teams to understand their needs and translate them into SAP solutions
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades or patches to maintain optimal functionality
- Participate in cross-functional project teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet business objectives
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all SAP MMPP processes
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as an SAP MMPP Analyst or similar role, preferably within the industrial products sector
- Strong understanding of SAP MMPP module configuration and process optimization in SAP ECC 6 environment, with familiarity in SAP S/4HANA as a plus
- Experience with SAP implementation projects and a track record of supporting supply chain and production operations across different SAP versions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of other SAP modules, such as FICO or SD is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in SAP technology
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Experience with other ERP systems such as Epicor Eclipse is a plus
