ATM RESPONSE OFFICER (ARMED)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Armed ATM Response Officer to join our security team. This position is responsible for providing physical security to ATM repair teams during service and maintenance operations. As an Armed ATM Response Officer, you will be on-call and required to respond to calls as needed, ensuring the safety of repair personnel and the ATM itself.

The position requires you to be armed and have reliable transportation to get to the job site. Upon receiving a call, you will have 1.5 hours to reach the designated site and meet with the repair tech. You may be required to visit multiple sites in a shift, so you should be prepared to remain on duty for up to 8 hours once on assignment. Duties

• Provide armed security to ATM repair teams while they conduct maintenance or repairs.
• Maintain a vigilant presence at the site, observing surroundings and identifying any potential threats.
• Respond quickly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies.
• Document all security-related activities and incidents accurately.
• Act as a first line of defense in preventing theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities.
• Work independently while adhering to company protocols and maintaining professional standards.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to utilize a pastoral approach to potentially hostile situations, with an emphasis on de-escalation and conflict resolution.
• Currently registered as a ARMED Guard with NCPPSB
• Active, valid Driver License with clean driving record
• Access to own vehicle (no public transportation / ride sharing)
• Ability to stand, walk, and/or run for periods up to 12 hours
• Ability to work required shifts including day and overnight.
• Ability to work holidays and weekends.

• Smartphone with ability to download appropriate work -related applications to be used in the field.
• Navy Blue tactical style pants (black permitted for first 3 pay weeks).
• Plain Black in color boots, shoes, or sneakers that are work-appropriate
• Duty Belt - All Officers
• Less-Lethal Device (OC Spray and/or Taser) - All Officers
• Handcuffs - All Officers
• Flashlight - All Officers
• Duty-Rated Firearm w/3 Magazines (Agency Must Approve) - Armed Officers
• Duty-Rated Level 2 or Higher Holster (Agency Must Approve) - Armed Officers
• Duty-Rated Ammunition (Agency Must Approve) - Armed Officers
• Body Armor (with SECURITY patches) - Armed Officers

Highly sought after skills:

• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Preference given to EMT/P certified individuals
• Preference given to former Law Enforcement Officers
• Preference given to current/former Military
• Certifications in any or all of the following: Taser, OC Deployment, handcuffing (must have current certification or be willing to get certified)
