Job Title: Entry-level CAD Drafter
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract to hire opportunity for Entry-level CAD Drafter with our client located in Overland Park, Kansas.
Job Responsibilities:
- Production of architectural contract drawings and specifications for multiple telecommunications projects.
- Coordination of structural, mechanical, electrical drawings and specifications with architectural contract documents for telecommunication facilities.
- Conduct site research, both desktop as well as physically visiting site locations as needed.
- Consult with municipalities to determine site specific jurisdictional requirements.
- Ensure that drawings are checked, approved and filed in accordance with company quality system.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 6 months' experience with AutoCAD.
- Technical or vocational training in drafting technology.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of MS Office, MS Word & MS Excel.
- Understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical disciplines and capability of coordinating drawing production for these disciplines.
- Strong organizational, written and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Team-based and fast paced work environment.
- Overtime required as needed to meet client deadlines.
Job Details:
- Job Type: 6 Month Contract with possible conversion to FTE if doing well.
- Pay Range: $14-$16/hour.
- Location: Overland Park, Kansas (Onsite)
