Position Title: Employment & Labor Senior Associate/Counsel

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire opportunity for Employment & Labor Senior Associate/Counsel with our client.

Job Description:

• Client is seeking a highly motivated, senior associate or counsel with six years of experience to join its Employment and Labor practice group.
  
  
  

Job Responsibilities:

• At least six or more years of experience with counseling and defending both (1) single-plaintiff employment cases and (2) class and collective actions in wage and hour cases and class wide allegations of unfair employment practices.
• Experience counseling and advising employers in employment matters, including discipline/discharge, discrimination/harassment, restrictive covenants, ADA/FMLA compliance, and wage and hour issues.
• Experience taking and defending depositions, managing written discoveries, and drafting and arguing motions.
• Experience drafting complex class and collective certification opposition briefs.
• Experience drafting employment agreements, separation agreements, position statements, employee handbooks, and other employment-related documents.
• Strong legal research skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, superior analytical skills, and the ability to manage client engagements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility.
  
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience.
• Bachelor's Law Degree required

• Job Type: Direct Hire
• Salary Range: $295K-$360K.
