Position Title: Financial Analyst 3

Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a Financial Analyst 3 with our client located in Redmond, WA OR Atlanta, GA. This is a hybrid role with on-site at least 2 days per week.

Job Description:

• The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
• Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
• Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risks.
• Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations and entire industries.
• Purpose of the Team:
• Part of finance team and do data center accounting. Support all data center accounting globally. Sponsor supports subsidiaries finance team globally. US team is focused on consolidated financials. Need someone to support subsidiary financial aspect and audit aspects.
• Key projects:
• There is a dedicated team who does systems and tools bringing in automation for the project. This person will be involved with this team and think about ways they can provide value to subsidiary partners. Work with team to think about establishing something new.
• This person will be a POC for legal entity creation process
• ROB monthly cycles
• Monthly cadence of different work steams
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm:
• Answering Emails (queries from international locations from subsidiary finance)
• Building out the BI (power BIs / data bases to create BI tool to self-serve for their partners) supporting 40 entities
• Monthly close activities reviewing financials at the entity level
• Review at company code level (monthly ROB)
• PMing / project management.
  
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• Must Have Accounting knowledge 5 years of experience.
• Must Have Project Management experience (supporting the business functions/discuss with partners/creating Bis or tools/reporting) 5 years of experience.
• Must Have Data Center Experience / Industry experience 5 years of experience.
• 5-7 overall years of experience in the field/5-7 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
• Degree qualifications - Experience in accounting and PMing is needed over specific degree requirement.
• Best vs. Average:
• Data center experience is a huge plus
• External financial audit experience
• Great communications

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract
• Location: Hybrid role with on-site at least 2 days per week either in Redmond, WA OR Atlanta, GA.
• Pay Range: $48/hr. to $71/hr.
• An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass a background check will not be considered for employment.
