As An ADON, You Will
An Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plays a crucial leadership role in ensuring quality nursing care and operational efficiency. In this position, you will:
- Provide administrative and clinical support to the Director of Nursing.
- Assist in developing care plans and oversee their implementation.
- Supervise and mentor the nursing team, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Promote compliance with state and federal regulations, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Play an instrumental role in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
Educational And Vocational Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of nursing practices and legal compliance standards, including the Compliance and Ethics Program, Standard/Code of Conduct, Federal False Claims Act, and HIPAA.
- Provide verification of a tuberculin skin test (TST) as required by state law or company policy (administered onsite if needed).
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure operational excellence.
