We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Human Resources Specialist to join our growing team. This role offers flexibility and is ideal for someone with a strong background in HR and a passion for supporting a positive company culture. The HR Specialist will oversee recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management, ensuring a smooth and effective HR operation.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, interviews, and new hire orientation.
· Handle employee relations, providing guidance and conflict resolution as needed.
· Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
· Maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
· Manage performance review process and provide support to managers with employee development.
· Advise employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Assist with benefits administration and employee wellness programs.
· Handle HR-related communications and foster a positive workplace environment.
Must Haves
· Previous experience in HR or a related field (preferably 2 years).
· Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
· Proficiency with ADP a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
