The Birches Academy is a STEAM integrated public charter school located in Salem, NH. The mission of the Birches Academy is to provide excellence in core academics and the arts while cultivating the individual qualities and strengths of each child. This position is for a part-time Human Resources Generalist.
We are hiring a part-time Human Resources Generalist for about 15 hours per week.The HR Generalist will be responsible for a variety of HR duties to support the whole school of approximately 60 employees.
Responsibilities:
-Recruiting and onboarding new employees
-Benefits administration and coordination of open enrollment with employees
-Compliance
-Coordination of leaves of absences and workers compensation
-Employee relations
-Maintaining files
-Staff appreciation
-Bi-weekly payroll
-And any other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree
-5 years of experience
-Payroll experience preferred but will train
