What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage federal tax compliance and consulting engagements for a diverse client portfolio.
- Oversee the preparation and review of federal income tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
- Provide technical tax guidance on complex compliance matters, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct tax research and planning for corporate clients, advising on regulatory changes and tax-saving strategies.
- Manage client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on federal tax matters.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff, ensuring team success and professional growth.
- 5-7 years of federal tax experience, with a strong understanding of corporate and partnership taxation.
- Background in public accounting, ideally from a Big 4 or top 30 firm.
- CPA license required (or actively pursuing for Manager level).
- Experience working with public company engagements and pass-through entities.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to develop and mentor junior team members.
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Competitive Compensation: $140K - $180K base salary, plus discretionary bonuses and annual raises.
- Work-Life Balance: Hybrid schedule (2 days in-office), with busy season hours capped at 50-55 per week (rarely 60).
