He or she carries out objectives to provide the best possible care and service for each resident. He or she strives to create a sense of security, contentment, and usefulness for the residents. He or she is responsible for the day-to-day business and maintaining the financial budget approved by Providence Management, LLC.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Works mainly in the administrative office and throughout the home on a day-to-day basis. May require working irregular hours. Will require occasional visits and / or presentations outside the home for marketing purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have two (2) years’ experience managing/directing a long-term care facility.
- Must have thorough knowledge of fundamentals of personal care home organization and administration, standards and regulations of personal care assisted living homes, and laws applicable to assisted living specifications.
- Must be able to read and adhere to departmental financial budget.
- Must have working knowledge of personal or business administration, public relations, and functions of all departments.
- Must be able to apply the principles of personnel administration to selection, placement, and transfer / discharge of employees.
- Must be willing to accept responsibility for all activities of the assisted living home.
- Has the ability to work with employees, residents, relatives, and the public.
- Must be sociable, courteous, and have a memory for details.
- Must have considerable initiative and judgment in operating by policies and regulations.
- Must work a forty hour week (at minimum).
- Must have a pre-employment and an annual TB screening.
- Efficient functioning and coordination of all departments.
- Meet and maintain standards for licensure in the home, commensurate with the authority conferred by the governing body and in accordance with established policies.
- Controls, utilizes, and conserves physical and financial assets of the business.
- Maintain liaison with the governing body through the Director of Operations via regular meetings and periodic reporting.
- Adopts and enforces rules for the assisted living and safety of the residents and others, and for the protection of their personal property and civil rights.
- Understands and enforces the vulnerable adult laws and practices.
- Implements and documents disposition of recommendations from the Director of Operations and handles other assignments as directed by the Director of Operations.
- Manages the home through employment of personnel and through proper delegation of duties.
- Gives a 30 day notice of resignation should this be chosen.
