Expanding clinic to support the needs of providers and patients
SUMMARY:
Provide comprehensive medical care to patients served at PCHC, in accordance with the policies and procedures and philosophy of PCHC. All duties/responsibilities are performed across life cycle (infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric), as applicable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education – Board Certified or Board Eligible. Primary care specialist (Pediatrics, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine). Must have current M.D. or D.O. license in Rhode Island. Maintain ongoing professional education as mandated by state regulation. Maintain appropriate hospital privileges in accordance with PCHC policies.
PCHC requires certain PCHC physicians to have hospital privileges and these physicians, therefore, might be required to take hospital call and perform hospital outpatient and inpatient duties which may involve non-PCHC patients, in accordance with the requirements of the hospital bi-laws.
