SUMMARY:

Employee will participate in operational analysis, time management, and financial reporting activities to ensure projects remain on track and resource utilization is optimized. Employee will also contribute to process improvements, workflow standardization, and data-driven decision-making to enhance efficiency and business performance. Assignments will be office based, reporting out of our Baton Rouge, Louisiana location.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven experience in operations analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analyses and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, is self-driven and works to further the efforts of the team.
  • Proficiency in using AI and other technologies to streamline processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Run weekly time analysis/spent/etc. reports and fill out scorecards, coordinating with Project Managers (PMs) to resolve zero spent issues.
  • Review timesheets before posting to ensure exceptions are limited and bring questionable items to the Chief Operations Officer (COO).
  • Conduct floor checks on timesheets to verify time allocation to correct projects.
  • Active role with collections of outstanding accounts receivables (A/R).
  • Review weekly project charged time/hours and address any questions with PMs.
  • Run weekly project performance reports, ensure budgets remain on track, and collaborate with PMs and COO to resolve issues.
  • Run weekly error suspense reports and coordinate with PMs and employees to allocate time to projects.
  • Review forecast spreadsheets and send three- and six-month trends to group leaders.
  • Assist Operations staff in streamlining processes and creating efficiencies using new methods/technologies, including Artificial Intelligence.
  • Analyze financial data to determine trends in specific project types and provide recommendations on cost adjustments or project viability.
  • Assist the COO with developing and maintaining operational processes and workflows to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Identify operational problems and inefficiencies, escalate to management, and provide potential solutions for resolution.
  • Collaborate with the software group to run invoices and manage client requests.
  • Use data analysis to identify areas for Operations optimization.
  • Track and monitor key metrics (utilization, margin, revenue, etc.) to develop analytical insights and drive recommendations for improvements.
  • Attend Operations and other meetings, as assigned.
