Major Functions: Responsible for the implementation of all internal and external fundraising and community events and coordinate community volunteer engagements.

General Duties | ||
|
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Hospitality or a related field or equivalent work experience in fundraising or special events required
- Minimum of three to five years of event planning experience - experience in the nonprofit sector preferred
- Proven success in soliciting and closing event sponsorships and ticket sales
- Experience coordinating external teams and committees to support events
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred
- Must be able to accommodate weekend and evening responsibilities
- Must be able to travel in the local community for meetings and events as assigned
- Must be comfortable with public speaking to diverse audiences

Work Environment
