Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work required
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Ohio required
- 1 to 3 years experience working with children and families
- Trained as a Certified Trauma Practitioner through Starr Commonwealth within the first 6 months of hire
- Annually trained in trauma-informed care practices to meet QRTP training requirements
- Dedication to the preservation of families in crisis
- Team player able to work in a high stress environment
- 21 years of age minimum and a valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication and written skills; strong time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a confidential setting
- Flexibility in adjusting to agency needs
- Computer skills proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Available for occasional weekend or evening Work/modified schedule based on agency activities
- Ability to travel in the Northeast Ohio area with reliable transportation and insurance
Physical Requirements: Candidate must be able to lift 40 pounds without restriction, bend at the waist, grasp, handle, and lift weight overhead, and have mobility in sitting, kneeling, crawling, and running which is required in daily course of childcare.
