Booking Agent

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and driven Booking Agent to join our team! The ideal candidate will have some past experience in sales or commission based workflows, show an aptitude for both customer outreach and strengthening existing client relationships, have basic familiarity with live music events, and be proficient using modern software systems across various platforms / websites. This position involves working closely with various artists, agents, music venues, casinos, and municipalities to schedule dates, negotiate contracts, and facilitate successful events.

Offering base salary with commission-based bonuses. We are based in North Kingstown, RI and are looking for someone to be in the office during business hours. Some communications with clients may be required during off hours, and while not required, there will be opportunities to attend local live music events in a professional capacity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the booking process for artists, ensuring all details are confirmed and communicated effectively.
• Negotiate contracts with clients and talent, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
• Oversee agency management tasks, maintaining relationships with clients and talent to foster long-term partnerships.
• Utilize social media marketing techniques to promote available talent and upcoming events.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing bookings and enhancing market reach.
• Monitor industry trends to stay informed about market demands and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the booking process, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Skills

• Experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent negotiation skills, capable of reaching favorable contract terms for all parties involved.
• Highly organized, task oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of social media marketing strategies, including social media management techniques to enhance visibility.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating clear interactions with clients and colleagues.

We are willing to train and teach the business to the right candidate. Experienced booking agents preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Supplemental Pay:
