This is a part-time position supporting the PACE Cully site on weekdays.
The Community Care RN provides and supervises professional, independent nursing care for Providence patients. Care is based in the nursing process and is consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act. Applies knowledge of assessing, planning, ordering, giving, delegating, teaching, and supervising professional nursing care delivery that promotes patients' optimal health and independence. All Providence professional nursing practice requires a broad range of general nursing knowledge and expertise. In addition, development and validation of knowledge and skills essential to the assigned department, patient population, and/or practice area are crucial. This position may be required to rotate through a weekend shift.
Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible living in the community through clinics, home visits, and more.
Required qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Relevant training applicable to the position, as specified by the Nurse Manager.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Upon hire: Relevant certifications applicable to the position, as specified by the Nurse Manager.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 1 year of Home health RN experience.
