Business Solutions Analyst - Healthcare

Providence Technology Group is seeking experienced Sr Business Solutions Analysts, with experience in the Healthcare Industry (medical – not insurance/payor) analyzing business and technical processes for large and complex organizations.

This is a Fulltime position requiring site visits approximately 2 times per quarter. Candidates may be located within the contiguous United States, but will be required to participate in twice quarterly site visits within the State of California.

The Business Solutions Analyst will augment current state staff in the implementation and Maintenance & Operations (M&O) of the end-client’s Continuum-EHR (EHR) solution. This role will involve working on multiple aspects of the project, and will require strong communication and analytical skills. The Business Solutions Analyst will perform the following types of tasks:

• Planning and Implementation Readiness– Collaborate with Project Managers; Facilitate workflow workshops; Develop documentation.
• Implementation- Liaise between users and technical teams; Manage requirements; Develop test scripts; Collaborate with vendors.
• Maintenance and Operations- Coordinate user feedback; Manage enhancement requests; Perform root cause analyses; Collaborate with Clinicians; Training.

The successful candidates will meet each of the following qualifications:

Mandatory Qualifications

• 5 years of progressively complex business systems analyst experience demonstrating strong analytical skills.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution OR 4 additional years of experience.
• 3 years of experience working as an analyst with an Electronic Health Record System.
• 5 years experience working as an IT Analyst (or similar) in the Healthcare industry (medical, not insurance/payor).
• 5 years experience working as an IT Analyst (or similar) with a large healthcare organization (3 sites).
• 5 years of experience developing and presenting recommendations/findings to senior leadership.
• 5 years of experience gathering requirements.
• 5 years of experience identifying/specifying business requirements for new or enhanced systems.
• 5 years of experience working on a large, complex IT project (1,000 users; multiple sites).
• 5 years of experience working in an Agile environment.
• 5 years of experience using Teams and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable Qualifications

• 3 years of analysis experience with the State of California’s PAL processes
• 5 years of experience with Visio.
• 3 years of experience using ServiceNow and JIRA.
• Public sector (state government) experience.

The position is expected to start in April 2025 and run for 3-5 years

The Business Solutions Analyst may not use Generative AI in this project unless specifically authorized in writing.

This Sr Business Solutions Analyst will work on a high-functioning team where a proactive approach is required. Candidates will be asked for references and sample work products. The selected candidates will be subject to a background check.
