Salary
The salary range for this position is $63.15 - $101.66 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Job Description
This role involves supporting the unit director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services within assigned shifts. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will utilize the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities, providing managerial presence for all shifts. You will also be responsible for managing clinical and non-clinical caregivers and providing input for performance evaluation purposes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BS or BSN) and a valid California Registered Nurse License. National Provider BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are also required. A recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital, charge nurse/relief charge nurse experience, leadership experience, and shared governance experience are preferred qualifications.
