Description
An Interventional Radiology Assistant assists the IR staff in the transportation, preparation, and care of IR patients under the direct supervision of the IR technologists, Imaging Manager, Lead Technologist, or Charge Nurse. The IR Assistant duties may include responsibility for stocking equipment, ordering and organizing supplies, checking expiration dates, scheduling exams, taking vitals, prepping for exams, prepping sterile fields and assisting with exam turnover. This assistant may have other duties assigned that may include clerical duties.
