Providence, a leading healthcare provider, seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join their team in Seward, Alaska. This is a full-time position requiring 36 hours of work per week with variable shifts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary care to a group of residents, supervising team members, and coordinating referrals to other clinical support teams. A key aspect of this role is serving as the point of contact for elder information and being accountable to the Director of Nursing (DNS) through licensed nurses in the homes.
To excel in this position, applicants must possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Previous experience in nursing, preferably in long-term care or rehabilitation settings, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary nurse for a designated group of residents
- Supervise Shahbazim and coordinate their nursing services
- Coordinate referrals to other clinical support teams and families
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to DNS
