Job Description
The Primary Care Nurse is responsible for the resident care for a specific group of residents, including supervision of team members, such as Shahbazim.
Nursing services delivered by Shahbazim are supervised by and directly accountable to the director of nursing (DNS) through licensed nurses in the homes.
The Primary Care Nurse coordinates referrals to other members of the clinical support team, families, and physicians.
The Primary Care Nurse serves as the point of contact for elder information.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 months of Nursing experience in a healthcare facility (acute care, long term care, rehabilitation center).
- Supervision/leadership experience.
