Description
Under general supervision, oversees and directs work of Nutrition Assistants, Clerks, and Room Service Attendants. Assures accuracy, timeliness, quality, and cost effective patient services, including menu processing, food preference interviews, tray assembly, meal delivery and collection, prescribed nourishment, and pantry supplies. Assures compliance with established policies and procedures, as well as, state and county codes. Participates in hiring, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Performs assigned calorie/nitrogen intake studies.

Required Qualifications:
Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National ServSafe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association
2 years food service or customer relations’ experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Nutrition or related field.
2 years progressively more responsible related work experience, including supervision.
6 months hospital clinical dietetics experience.
