What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Specialist position at Providence?
We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Specialist to join our team at Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA. As a Surgical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing quality surgical patient care and assisting in the maintenance of a safe and aseptic surgical environment.
The ideal candidate will have completion of an accredited surgical technologist program or equivalent experience. You will also be required to obtain Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire and National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
In this role, you will observe and teach other surgical team members in proper surgical technique and report to the department manager or assistant nurse manager.
